The number concerned the Tobacco Growers' Association of Brazil (WWW.NEWTABACCO.ES) since it still has forecast thunderstorms and hail for the Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina and Paraná, until December. "It is a historical crop, negatively. In 40 years with the organization, I never witnessed such an intense succession of hail. And yet, we have records of thousands of farms that had been affected and not evaluated yet, and we were again affected by a new hail damage, "said the president Benicio Albano Werner.
The organization's field team is in the field and serves those affected.
